Hair oil — anhydrous or emulsion, your call
Hair oil is the easiest category to get wrong, because a beautiful oil in the bottle can be heavy, sticky or oxidised by the time it reaches the customer. We work the carrier system and the antioxidant package together.
Formulation systems we build with
Carrier blend
Spreadability and dry-touch feel come from the ester-to-triglyceride ratio far more than from the headline oil on the label.
Oxidative stability
Polyunsaturated oils need an antioxidant package and, in some markets, a packaging barrier. We test stability rather than assume it.
Emulsion route
For a lighter, more premium feel, an oil-in-water emulsion delivers the same claim at a fraction of the grease.
Claims this line can support
- Argan, camellia, jojoba, squalane and ester-based carriers
- Dry-touch and non-greasy positioning
- Scalp serums with caffeine, niacinamide or peptide actives
- Heat-protection and colour-shield variants
- Fragrance load up to the client's brief
On claims: every claim above is a formulation direction, not a pre-approved marketing statement. Any claim you put on pack has to be supportable in your market — we will tell you which ones need substantiation data before you commit to artwork.
