Regulatory

Compliance is per market, not per factory

A factory can be certified and still ship a product that is non-compliant in your market. The certificate covers how the product is made; the regulation covers what is in it and what the label says. Both have to be right, and they are different jobs.

Testing before claims

Stability, preservative efficacy and micro testing run in-house. Third-party testing — challenge tests to a specific standard, clinical efficacy, or safety assessment — is coordinated with accredited external laboratories when your market requires it.

Accelerated stability: elevated temperature and cycling
Real-time stability across the claimed shelf life
Preservative efficacy testing (challenge test)
Microbiological counts and specified-organism screening
Compatibility testing between formula and pack
Third-party efficacy and safety assessment coordination
Microbiology quality control laboratory — in-house testing
Microbiology QC — in-house, so a failed result is acted on immediately
Where our responsibility ends

What we do not claim

We are not the responsible person. In the EU, the Responsible Person is established in the Union and holds legal responsibility for the product. We supply the documentation they need; we do not stand in their place.
We do not approve artwork for your market. We review labels for ingredient naming and known restrictions, but final compliance of the marketed product rests with the brand and its regulatory advisor in that jurisdiction.
Certificates cover the site, not the product. ISO 22716 and GMPC certify that the manufacturing site operates to a defined standard. They say nothing about whether a specific formula is compliant in a specific country.
